The seminar on Port Engineering is a specialised technical training course on several aspects of port planning, design, access, hydrodynamics, berthing, mooring and fendering devices, port infrastructure, dredging technology, environmental and safety aspects (issues such as oil spills and geomorphology).
Site visits are paid to the facilities of Dredging International, the Vessel Traffic Service and other technical installations in the ports of Antwerp, Zeebrugge and Ghent.
