Outline

The seminar on Port Logistics is an integrated course on all aspects of modern logistics in relation to the maritime business. Port authorities and private port operators discuss in detail topics such as transport of goods, warehousing, distribution, handling, forwarding and customs regulations in the field of port logistics. Special attention is paid to hinterland relations, integrated logistics, logistic and suply chane management and the handling of dangerous cargo.
Several distribution zones in the ports of Antwerp, Zeebrugge and Ghent are visited.
