Taking into account the increasing maritime traffic we feel the need to elaborate a new seminar on "Nautical Accessibility & Maritime Traffic Management". Well aware of the predominant importance to guarantee safe and smoothly going maritime traffic to and from the ports and being one of the busiest sea routes in the world we can offer the expertise available in this specific field. The programme has been elaborated in close collaboration with the Flemish Government, Agency for maritime and Coastal Services.The following issues will be covered : role and responsibilities of the Agency for Maritime and Coastal Services and other parties involved, Traffic management and "chain approach", Pilotage, Shipping Assistance Service and VTS, Coast guard, Coastal Safety Plan, Hydrography, Cartography, Beaconing, etc.
