Outline

The seminar on Inland Waterways Transport is developed in close cooperation with the Administration of Waterways and Marine Affairs of Flanders. It focuses on all aspects of inland waterways navigation in Belgium and Europe, on the relationship between port operations and transport by barge, and on the management and operation of inland intermodal terminals.
The seminar includes visits to the inland container terminal in Meerhout, to the intermodal terminal in Ruisbroek and to the inland ports of Brussels and Liège.
