The Port of Antwerp and its operators continue to invest in the future growth of the port's breakbulk activities. With the construction of new dedicated breakbulk terminals (including an all-weather terminal) and the renovation of existing terminals and quay walls, the Port of Antwerp is dedicated to boosting the capacity and efficiency of its handling services even further in the future. A second lock, improving access to the left bank of the river, will soon be constructed.
