Cruises

The port of Antwerp is generally associated with goods transport, dock work and economic activity, but of course it is much more than that. There are various yacht marinas in the port area, both on the left and on the right bank, offering facilities for a wide range of water-based leisure activities.
Every year thousands of cruise passengers visit Antwerp, and not only from the sea cruise ships that moor at the new cruise terminal on the Scheldt: hundreds of river cruise ships also moor in the docks during any one year.

Antwerp is more than just a cargo port: thanks to the cruise terminal on the Scheldt quays, visitors are able to discover the attractions of the city and old port.
