Applications for berth reservations for seagoing ships are made by the ship’s agent to the Harbourmaster’s Office of the Port Authority. Go to the Seagha Vessel Manager to make the application.

The paper method is due to be abolished in the course of 2007, after which berths can only be reserved electronically. Further details of the procedure to be followed can be found in information note 8, available from the Harbourmaster’s Office. Berth reservations do not have to be made for barges, as these are assigned to a suitable berth in consultation with the dockmaster concerned.
