Port of Antwerp International NV (PAI) is a subsidiary of the Antwerp Port Authority.
PAI will put the Port Authority’s maritime foreland policy into practice by participation or acquisition of shares in overseas ports and port projects with a reliable rate of
return, located in strategically important regions such as the Middle East, India, Sub-Saharan Africa, Vietnam and Brazil.
The partners in these collaboration projects may be public authorities (national or local port authorities), or private companies (port operators, shipping lines, consultancy firms, project developers etc.), or public/private combinations. Besides, PAI can rely upon the knowhow of the experts within the Antwerp Port Authority, involved in technical, nautical and policy aspects of port management on a daily basis.
