Finding your way

1. Port map

The first possibility is the map of the port that can be consulted via the Geographic Information System (GIS) maintained by Antwerp Port Authority.

2. GPS

Most users of the port are familiar with the quay numbering system, with numbers also appearing on traffic signs. However, the numbering is not usually available in GPS devices. The Port Authority has therefore made it possible to download the quay numbering, free of charge, as a Point of Interest file for your GPS device. The link www.portofantwerp.com/gps contains a ZIP file with the quay numbering in various file formats, as used in the most commonly used GPS devices.

3. Website

The website http://www.antwerpportmobility.be (in four languages) contains a tool for planning road transport not only within the port area but also beyond. This helps you to find the most efficient route and minimise journey times. The route planning system uses the quay numbering system to define destinations within the port. You will also find details of any roadworks in and around Antwerp.
