Certified Pick up - Getting started

This page offers a quick overview of how to get connected to Certified Pick up, the new system that will regulate the release of containers in the port of Antwerp based on coded identification and authorisation information. For more information, you can consult the documentation provided by NxtPort.

 

Step 1: Get access to the Certified Pick up application

 

  • If you don't have an account on C-point yet, register a new account and request access to Certified Pick up by following the tutorial provided by NxtPort.
     
  • If you already have an account on C-point, log in and request access to the Certified Pick up application, as shown in this part of the tutorial.
     
  • You will receive a confirmation email when your request is approved. Now you can continue to Step 2.

 

Step 2: Log in to the NxtPort console to complete your subscription

 

  • Log in to the NxtPort console as shown here, accept the Terms and Conditions and fill out your billing and contact information to complete the setup of your account.

 

Step 3: Start using Certified Pick up

 

  • Forwarders, BCO & Transport companies can implement the Certified Pick up process into their organisation in two ways:
  • Shipping agents in Phase I (starting from January 1 2021):
    • Continue to send release messages to the terminal, including the PIN code
    • Send a copy of the release information to NxtPort via:

 

  • Terminals in Phase I (starting from January 1 2021):
    • Submit Terminal Events (discharge and gate-out ) to the NxtPort platform. This can be done via Edifact messages (COARRI & CODECO) or via API call
    • Provide NxtPort with the Terminal Blocks via:
      • API call (preferred) or
      • The user interface provided by NxtPort, which you can access by logging in to your C-point dashboard once you have completed the steps above
