Flashback to Transport Logistic München
General
Transport Logistic München 2019 closed the doors. Time to relive the succesful edition.
From June 4th until June 7th, Port of Antwerp was present at Transport Logistic München. With over 64 000 visitors from over 125 countries this is the biggest fair in Europe in its kind.
You can read the final report over here.
Together with 14 co-exhibitors from the port community we hosted our own booth: terminals, logistic companies and shippers were represented.
It was the ideal moment to meet or catch up on our business with European logistic providers.
Happy Hour on Wednesday was a big success, with lots of shippers, forwarders and other interested people to enjoy a Belgian beer whilst networking.
Together with other Flemish sea- and airports we organised a pressconference to inform the press about BE-gate, the customsplatform to simplify e-commerce. Port of Antwerp introduced herself as the ideal gateway for e-commerce hubs in the European hinterland. You can read the pressrelease over here.
And off course also mobility and intermodality were hot topics. During the conference Luc Arnouts defended the efforts we made so far to optimize the inland shipping for containers in the port of Antwerp.
The next edition of Transport Logistic will take place in 2021. In case you would be interested in participating as a co-exhibitor on the Port of Antwerp booth, you can contact Annick Dekeyser (Annick.dekeyser@portofantwerp.com).
